Survey results and a chance to do your own

March 31, 2010 Comments off

Thanks for taking the survey about what kinds of cool multimedia tools you’ve tried! Here are the results (I’ve discovered a free version of Survey Monkey does not allow you to display or download survey results very well. This may be a good reason why Polldaddy is better for integration in this blog).

I’m hoping by the end of the class that you will have tried nearly all of these things.

For next Thursday, I want you all to create your own survey, and send it out to at least 20 people. I want you to get at least 15 responses, so if those 20 don’t respond, send out to more. Ask at least 5 questions about some subject you care about. You will be using the results of the survey to write a news story, so try to ask something that is going to make good fodder for a news story. You can follow up by getting quotes from people about their responses. You’ll be turning in a print copy of the results as well.
